Lakewood School strives to provide unique learning experiences to all of it's students. Our students have been asking to learn how to play ukelele in music class for years and we want to give them that opportunity. Each student would get to use their own ukelele during class to learn chords and melodies so they can play along with songs and compose their own music. Donating to our project will bring us one step closer to achieving our students' dreams of learning how to play the ukelele. Learning a musical instrument is a skill that will benefit them in multiple areas of their daily life. Not only will they be learning perseverance, discipline, and responsibility, they will be making life long memories with classmates!
