These materials are the stepping stones for my students' imagination and creativity. I can see and know how possible it can be for them to trust their own choices, but using important art mediums. I start with three art mediums, so the skill can overlap and benefit the next. Colored pencils open the mind to magnificent color combinations and teach the skill of mixing and shading. Oil pastels guide the students to trust their fingertips to enhance colors in their art piece. While watercolor paints combine the techniques to use the skills through the stroke of a brush. Creativity is ever growing!
