Let’s face it. No matter what age you are it is hard to sit still at a desk. First graders tend to have the wiggles and ants in their pants. They are more focused on moving around than what is being taught In class. By having a variety of seating options in my classroom students will be able to move about and find more comfortable places to concentrate on their work. This will allow them to get more comfortable and focus more on the lessons being taught in the classroom.
