Hi! Thank you for visiting my Donors Choose site. My name is Amanda Walters and I am a 3rd grade teacher. I have been teaching for about 7 years and am deeply passionate about what I do. I currently am co-teaching with another amazing teacher, Riki Baker, we have 50 students in our classroom. My goal is not only to give our students the best education they can possibly receive, but to also be the person who believes in them and helps them believe in themselves. My school is full of caring teachers and staff that are always willing to go above and beyond what the job description says. Despite the amazing staff that I get to work with everyday, my school still lacks many resources that are helpful in keeping students engaged and interested in their learning process. Any amount that you can give will help my students grow not only in their education, but in their self-worth and abilities. So, thank you!
