I teach 6,7, and 8th grade gifted learners. For the most part, they are passionate about learning. I love their curious natures, and the way they think deeply and differently about various issues. Each day brings surprises, laughter, and insights that never occurred to me. I am the only advanced language arts teacher in the building, so I teach a majority of my students for three years. This allows me to build strong relationships with my students and their parents. I teach in a relatively small school in a semi-rural area within reasonable driving distance to a large city.

About my class
