My students struggle with understanding the beginning concepts of reading and math. Currently there is not a hands-on and visual activity for the students to learn in a way that benefits them the most. In reading most students need visual and written words to help them grasp the concept of reading which the beginning reader books will help them with as well as having a variety of books to choose from. The literacy management will help students visualize a way to quietly transition to independent and guided reading stations. Math manipulative board games will help with a hands-on approach to counting and recognizing numbers. All of these materials will help my students learn at the best of their abilities.
