I am a speech-language pathologist at an elementary school. I am lucky to work with a fantastic group of students! Because of language and communication impairments, many of them find it very challenging to learn new concepts and curricular vocabulary in the areas of science, math, social studies, and English language arts, and to comprehend information in the classroom setting. They need repeated exposure across various modalities to grasp new information. I want to inspire my students and I want them to continue to be excited about their learning, to feel pride in their accomplishments, and to be successful in school.
