I love teaching in the Career and Technical field, because I get students from all walks of life. I try to motivate all of these students to find a passion in life and do their best at whatever it is they choose. The school I teach at is a school full of athletic tradition, musical talent, service oriented and struggles with mental health. I want to help students who are not involved in school activities find a place where they belong. I want to help them make and reach their dreams! I want them to be able to experience education outside the classroom walls. I have found that many under motivated students need more of a real world/hands on experience. Nine years ago I started to traveling with students in the USA and abroad, and I am so thankful for those opportunities. It has opened eyes not only for my students, but for me.
