The books that I have chose to incorporate in my library will be made available for all students. They range in topic, and include diversity. There are also books that touch on certain issues that happen in the daily lives of children. They may need to see what it means to share. They may can find ways to relate to a child riding the bus. Having books that children can relate to makes reading more enjoyable. Not only will these books be made available for leisure reading, but they can also tie into curriculum being used in the class. For instance, Chocolate Me by Taye Diggs can be used during the topic All About Me and when discussing how each student is unique in their own way.
