These books will enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. This classroom library is a place that my students will really enjoy. My students love when I read to them on the carpet, and I know they will love reading independently just as much! It is important to get leveled books (A, B, C, D, E, F, etc,) that way all my students will have ample opportunities to read each day, and understand what they read. Every book that is placed in my library will be treated with love and care. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind because I have asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading. Students will be able to choose from a variety of books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own level. My students will also be able to choose books that interest them. I have noticed, and read studies, that children will read more if they have books that they are interested in. By having this variety, I believe that all my students will show a love for reading because there will be books on their level that interest them. These books will help my students grow strong in reading, and build the confidence they need to continue reading!
