I am an Instructional Coach at a struggling school in Hemet, CA, and I absolutely LOVE my job! My job is to provide instructional support for teachers. Teaching middle school is tough and many of the students at my school can be very challenging to work with for a variety of reasons. Because of the challenging teaching environment, many teachers end up leaving the profession because they are overwhelmed and lack much needed support. My job is to be that support system for teachers (especially new ones) to ease their burden, increase their confidence in managing students, and to help to foster stronger instructional practices ultimately to increase student achievement. I love serving in this community, and I have a strong desire to help teachers become the BEST teachers they can for their students.
