I am a brand new teacher coming into a classroom that doesn’t have any rugs. I feel that rugs aren’t only great for defining space but they make the classroom homier. Having a large rug in front of our smartboard will give the children the opportunity to have “space” other than their desk, where they can engage in learning. The rug I have selected has nice colors to accent our classroom without it being so bright that it’s distracting. The students will love this addition to our class.

About my class
