  • Essential for Student Learning

    It is with a heartfelt thank you for donating to my classroom. It is greatly appreciated that you took the time to donate to my classroom and investing in today's educational needs. Your generosity is very much appreciated.

    Your donation has helped many of my student families who cannot afford appropriate classroom supplies such as notebooks, Clorox wipes and daily snacks. Students in my classroom have been able to use their notebooks for science, language arts, social studies. math, along with other fun learning activities. The Clorox wipes have allowed us to keep a clean classroom, and for my students to stay healthy. For the first time in 15 years, I have enough Clorox wipes for the entire school year! That in itself is a success!

    In terms of my next donors choose project, I'm not sure yet but I have some ideas. I want to get some feedback from my students as to what they think our biggest need is for our classroom. From there, I will work on writing up my next project.

It would be a blessing to be able to provide students this opportunity, so their brains are always ready to learn! Having a full tummy will in fact allow my students to work to their full potentials! I know that when I have had enough to eat, I work my best and have more stamina for working hard. I don't like the fact that some of my students can bring snacks every day and some can't. Most students don't have these healthy options available at home. These snack options were picked by my students, so I know they will be well liked!! Students that come to school with essential materials for class, often sets them up for success in learning! I'm asking to be funded for more student notebooks, as this is a classroom supply that is often missing. We use separate notebooks for Math, ELA, Reading WIN, Math WIN, along with Science and Social Studies class. These notebooks are used for taking notes, document strategies for learning curriculum content, and for students reference what they've learned about.
