This printing press is a resource that will continue to give for many, many years! My students have never had the opportunity to use a real printing press in our classroom studio. Students are able to do so much more with a printing press including monoprinting, intaglio, linocut printing, and even embossing! Using the press gives my students a more real-world experience in the realm of printmaking. Having a printing press opens up so many creative possibilities for my students in our art classroom! Having a press and creative space for printmaking allows more students to dive into their creativity and use real-world skills such as work ethic, experimentation, and creative problem solving.
