My students will use these art magazines as inspiration for self-directed artwork. They don't have access to computers or phones to research artists, art movements, art techniques or methods, or artworks. These magazines will help them explore ideas before they begin their artwork. They'll also reinforce and build their English language skills. Students will be able to enjoy reading them if they finish early or need a break. The chalk pastels are a new material for students to work with that allows them to experiment with all new multimedia art techniques, enabling them to explore new ways to express themselves in art. They'll use them in a variety of art lessons, from expressive self-portraits to abstract free-form drawings. By donating these supplies you will give my students the visual inspiration and creative materials to feel both inspired and confident in the artwork they create.
