I teach art at a public school in Brooklyn dedicated to serving students with Autism. Every day my wonderfully talented students inspire me with their creativity and desire to learn. Many of my students struggle with language, communication, and social skills. Through art, however, they are able to convey thoughts and feelings that might otherwise be difficult to communicate. They find their voice in crayons, paint, and markers. And, thanks to generous donors like you, they have the opportunity to expand their self-expression with an endless list of new exciting materials such as clay, photography, and animation.

About my class
