I teach in a high poverty school where students don't always have a lot of opportunities at home. Because of this, I like to try to enrich their lives the best I can while they are at school. Making school fun, innovative, challenging, and safe are my goals as a teacher. I have come to the realization that I cannot do this on my own. "It takes a community to raise a child."
