Last year, I launched a yoga program in my school where students were exposed to a variety of different types of yoga and meditation styles. Many students reflected that they felt stronger, more relaxed, and saw an overall improvement in well-being. But some identified that they couldn't participate because they needed additional support The purpose of this project is to purchase foam yoga blocks that give students the extra support they need to address strength, flexibility and mobility issues. Students will use these blocks to modify poses, as well as use them for more therapeutic and restorative poses. With these blocks as a resource, all students will be able to participate in a yoga practice!
