Welcome! Kindergarten is a magical place to be! I am so lucky I get to spend my days watching these little ones grow and learn. However, the world is rapidly changing and SO is kindergarten! Our kids are capable of so much more than coloring. My philosophy of teaching stems from the idea that if you set high expectations for students they will meet them. Students will only achieve what you believe they can; this is why I place such a heavy emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). 5-year-olds have passion for anything you put in front of them (from princesses to volcanoes). Using the next generation science standards my goal is to instill a passion for problem solving and all disciplines of engineering and science. Having proper materials is the first step to achieving this goal. Your donation can help prepare these little ones for the 21st century!
