Julia Cook is an author of children’s literature who does an excellent job at teaching children in ways that make sense to them. Her books are entertaining, colorful, filled with rhythmical rhymes and repetition. She writes books on subjects such as: manners, tattling, respect, responsibility, mindset, and how to make friends. These books will promote the development of positive life skills beyond the classroom. I will incorporate these books into specific lessons as well as into my classroom library. My students love to check-out books on topics that we discuss in class. These books have been on my list of wants for some time now. I am eager to add these to my classroom collection.
