Students will be creating activity journals using 3rd grade standards to help them learn about science and social studies content. As they complete the journals, they will use them to display their work for parents and stockholders to view. They will also be able to use these journals to review what they have learned throughout each unit in the subjects of social studies and science. Their journals will include essential questions, objectives, and project based learning by implementing research based projects, illustrations, and writing components. These journals will allow students to gain understanding of the content knowledge through the creation of these interactive science and social studies notebooks. These journals will also give them the opportunity to show their own personality and style as they use creative ideas and methods to complete each wonderful page of their journal.
