This Reading Comprehension set will give my 3rd grade students the skill set to better analyze, look at, and understand texts. My students can read, however, at the third grade level, the expectation is that they can now delve into the undertones of the text: the character traits of the characters, the plots, the author's purpose, and many other key literary components. This literary bundle from Lakeshore will give my 3rd grade students everyday practice on these challenging skills. I plan on using this bundle during small group in which I work in groups of students of 5 or less who are struggling with reading comprehension.
