In the fall I will welcome a class of first grade students. First grade is one of my favorite grades because it is first that many of the students learn to read, write and develop a solid foundation in mathematics. I can expect to have a classroom of 22 bright, happy students that are committed to success! My school is title 1 school, which means that most of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Our population is 95% African American.

About my class
