I strive to constantly evolve and seek new ways to keep my little learners motivated and excited about learning. By attending the one-of-a-kind Get Your Teach On National Conference for K-5 teachers, I will spend two days with Deanna Jump, Hope King, and the Get Your Teach On Team to learn about strategies, best practices, and tricks to get students to reach their full potential. I'm hoping to share this experience with a colleague who has attended a previous GYTO conference and came back rejuvenated and excited to implement new strategies with her students. As a veteran teacher with 23 years of experience, I do believe that it IS possible to teach an old dog new tricks! What better way to reignite my passion for teaching than by experiencing two days learning about some of the most current research based strategies for education facilitated by an experienced team of presenters who are passionate about helping teachers to hone their craft? I am looking for ways to stay motivated, prepared, and enthusiastic about teaching and I know the Get Your Teach On team will provide a meaningful, practical approach to help me create the best experiences possible for my kinders.
