I have a diverse group of students which includes ELL, special needs and accelerated students. We are striving to create a community where everybody works to the best of their abilities and helps their peers to work to the best of theirs. I encourage students to help each other and learn from each other in both academics and behavior. They are proud of themselves when they help their peers to do the right thing or to perform at a higher academic level. They are a very caring and thoughtful group of children. Our school is 37 percent free and reduced lunch and has a growing ELL population. We focus on integrating technology into all areas of the curriculum for all grades.
