I teach at an all-boys middle school. The young men I teach are energetic, creative, social, and need tons of love!! A lot of my scholars have low reading levels or trouble paying attention. They can be very fidgety. The projects I am asking donations for would really help with creating engagement and buy-in for a lot of the activities I would like to do with them or help with classroom management. Many of my students had missing teachers for the past few years because of the teacher shortage before and during the pandemic. All of these factors contribute to an unstable academic experience. I want them to have a classroom that represents stability. My projects will try to make their experience in my classroom as comfortable and inviting as possible while they learn.
