Now more than ever, during Covid -19, students need to read books they love to help with their mental health and to help compensate for the learning losses they experienced during the spring of 2020. Getting physical books into the hands of my students provides them with a screen time break from eBooks and from remote learning. Supplying my students with their favorite books will encourage more students to use curbside pickup and encourage students to keep returning that already use it. Most importantly, acknowledging students' interests by offering books that they love to read encourages students to become lifelong library users and learners.
