Kindergarten is a special chapter and the magic that the year holds is unmatched. We have embarked on an incredible journey and it wouldn't be the same without you! Thank you for being here on this heart-centered journey with us! Our classroom mantra is “Everything we do is rooted in heart.” Throughout the day, we ground our actions in our mantra and it is a powerful guiding force. Kindergarteners are capable of SO much! In our classroom: Students fulfill a number of different important jobs throughout the day. We often vote to make classroom decisions. Students are given choices about their own learning. This is not a classroom of 1 leader and 20 followers, rather, in our classroom there are 21 family members with an equal voice! When students are given ownership they learn “I am trusted, I am important, I belong here.”
