My students are multicultural. We love our school and each other. Our class family is protective of one another. My students are great readers and scored fairly high on the SRI. I am proud of the way they always encouraged each other to read. They always wanted to go to the library to check out more books. Some of my second graders were reading on a fifth grade level. All, but two, were reading on grade level. I had a great year teaching second grade, I can't wait for second grade again!
