My students are individuals who are inquisitive, sweet, funny and always willing to help others. Some of my students are learning to read and write, while others are learning their colors, shapes and letters. They love any activity that involves music! Love, laughter, learning and community are the cornerstones of our classroom. Even with the odds stacked against them, my students continue to word hard, rising to meet the challenges of learning. Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." I love to involve all of my students into our daily learning, and it's amazing the gains that seem to happen overnight!
