My name is Angela Breeze. I am a 5th grade teacher at an amazing school, New Hope Elementary. It is part of Orange County Schools in North Carolina. Our school population is over 50% free and reduced lunch which qualifies us as a Title One school. My class is ethnically diverse. Families want to be involved in their child's education although opportunities for some are limited due to the need to meet their family's basic needs for shelter, food, etc. This also limits their ability to financially support the classroom learning environment.
