My school is a Title 1 school where the majority of the student population is Hispanic. 99% of the students are on free and reduced lunch and many come from single parent families. The school offers enrichment classes in art, music, science and health fitness. Our music program focuses on learning music concepts through instruments. We use percussion instruments, recorders, ukuleles, and pianos. Students are eager to learn and need more exposure to different instruments.
