I teach in a school that was formerly Title l in South Carolina. My students are phenomenal kids, but they do not have access to the same educational resources that other kids do. Their parents work really hard to make ends meet. Many of them have been laid off in this economy and they cannot afford even the basic necessities their children require. The students in my classes always want to do their best, but many times they have to work with the little supplies that we have available. I would like to give them the opportunity to see what they can do with good supplies and great resources for reading and technology!
