Having this carpet in our classroom will allow my students to have a space of their own to learn and grow, while also respecting others’ space and learning. The designated squares makes for easy sitting, therefore making instructional time more meaningful and purposeful. On the carpet, my students will benefit from having a shared space to receive instruction, meet for our morning meetings, read a good book, and flexible seating when doing individual, partner or group work. This carpet will be the focus point of our classroom bringing my students closer as a community to build relationships among their peers and to enjoy learning!

About my class
