Vocabulary.com combines the world's smartest dictionary with an adaptive learning game that will have my students mastering new words in no time. It teaches words by systematically exposing you to a wide array of question types and activities that will help to understand all the meanings and nuances of every word learned. Vocabulary provides clever usage tips and real-world examples to show how words live in the wild so you’ll be more confident using them yourself. This tool provides statistics to better individualize instruction for each of my students to help them to succeed. I have used this program in the past and my students have been very successful, I am just not able to pay for it out of pocket this year.
