I have 24 of the absolute greatest 5 and 6 year olds on this planet. We spend a lot of time making sure our classroom is a warm and inviting place where each child feels confident enough to share ideas and expand their knowledge. Our class is very culturally diverse, where at times, there are up to 8 different languages being spoken at once. This is the first school experience for many of my students and many are just starting to learn the English language. It is heartwarming to see each child embrace not only the differences of his or her classmates, but their own differences; and how their uniqueness is what makes each of them so special to me and to the world.
