My students are beginning their school aged journey, and with that comes learning many new things. From the alphabet, phonics, spelling, writing and so much more, my students are always learning. In order to ensure that my Kindergarteners are able to be successful in their journey, they need new books for our classroom library that are appropriate and up to date. Right now, I have books that are copyrighted from the 1990s. To ensure my students get the most out of Writer's Workshop, students will need a writing journal. This will provide them an organized space to write, draw, and revise their work. It will also give them a book where they can see their growth, which gives them the feeling of being excited and prideful of their work. This is a feeling that is irreplaceable. Help me give my students a feeling of pride and a moment of excitement by providing these resources for our classroom.
