During the school year, students need to be able to access their supplies as quickly as possible to ensure they stay focused during learning. At my school, the desks used for my grade level do not have cubbies in the desks. For some activities, I need to store the notebooks/workbooks in another space away from their desks, so my students need to use their precious learning time to go and grab the supplies that they need. During this time, some students may loose focus on the task at hand or they may become distracted by their classmates. Having these chair pockets will make it so that my students do not need to leave their desks to grab what they need and will save them time during the learning day.
