The materials I am requesting will help us reach our goals in becoming outstanding readers. I live in a low income area where improving literacy is a primary focus. It can start with a simple book. Reading makes a huge difference in our students' lives and helps them to be successful students. Students should feel safe and comfortable at school. The classroom carpet will be used for reading circles, classroom sharing and mini lessons. It would be such an honor to receive support in providing materials that will be the focal point in assisting day to day instruction to my students!
