I teach first grade in North Carolina. We are a Title 1 school with many socially and economically disadvantaged families. My students are very active and love to have fun! They love to read but I don't have enough books in our classroom library to support their love for reading. With a class size of 23 there is not a large variety of books for students to explore different genres of books. My students love pulling out a pillow and getting comfy with a good book.
