My students are in grades K-5th. They reside in a low-income community in Dallas. Unfortunately, the economic disparities facing Dallas/Fort Worth means that not all of the schools in the metroplex have the same educational opportunities or equitable exposure to Dallas/ForthWorth's educational resources. Yet, in spite of their circumstances, my students are some of the most intelligent, creative and resilient people on earth! Although I serve some outstanding students, unfortunately, our school lacks the funding to provide our amazing students with opportunities for learning outside of the four walls of our school building. Nevertheless, what we lack in resources, we make up with our drive to create a safe and enriching space both during the school day and after school. Please consider donating to our classroom/school community!
