I have a classroom of 17 wonderful kindergarten students. The children I am honored to teach are extremely eager to learn, and they love coming to school. They enjoy hands on activities, and especially using the computer. Many children are first introduced to computers when they enter my classroom. Our school is a title 1 school in a poverty stricken neighborhood. For some of my students, school serves as the only constant and predictable part of their day. Their joy of learning new things is contagious. The children enter My school is a Title 1 school, so we have an assortment of hands-on learning centers and manipulatives, but we are lacking in some of the more modern technological teaching aides, like tablets and e-readers.
