I teach an energectic and diverse group of fifth-grade students who are growing into indpendent thinkers, problem-solvers, and leaders. As their teacher, I have the opportunity to teach them throughout the day in all core subject areas, including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. My students come to school with different strengths, interests, learning styles, and academic needs. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. Because we learn across so many subjects each day, having engaging, high quality materials makes a tremendous difference. Resources provided through DonorsChoose will help students access meaningful and memorable experiences. Most importantly, I want my students to walk into our classroom knowing it is a place for them to be valued, challenged, supported, and given the tools they need to succeed.
