My seventh grade students are fast becoming voracious readers, as they are trying to reach the goal of reading 30 books this school year. They are hard-working, compassionate, and thoughtful students. We are a STEM magnet school, and, thus have students from a variety of backgrounds. Some kids live right in the community; other students have an hour bus ride to school every day. Some students have access to books at home; others do not have books at all. Overall, my students are typical middle school students yet wonderful works-in-progress!
