Organization is both important and sometimes difficult for active fourth graders. Having organizational tools in the classroom such as turn-in work bins help students become more efficient and self-directed. Timers help students manage their time wisely and keep them on task. Sand timers are a fun and engaging way to get the students wanting to finish on time. Making a connection from school to home is important for consistency. Providing organizational tools to travel between home and school will provide students with confidence to continue to be successful at home as well as in school.
