I work in a Title I elementary school where most of the students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. My students have to deal with outside stresses that many of us will never have to experience in our lives. Despite the hardships they may face outside of school, my students are hardworking, upbeat and creative kids. They crave the opportunity to gain knowledge and showcase their creativity.
