The students are 5th graders in a high poverty school system in southern Ohio. Some of these children benefit from different charities in the area and would like to give back. Others just want to get involved and lend a helping hand to those in need. They have organized a team/club that allows them to help others and give back to the community. Together the team comes up with monthly projects that help out others. For October, they collected items for blessing boxes in our town. For November, they would like to make no sew blankets to donate to the homeless.
