I would like to start my first year of teaching with a brand new, clean, germ-free rug. The classroom rug is one of the most important areas of my classroom. The rug will be used for students to interact with their peers, do morning tubs, enjoy Fun Friday activities, and complete their center work. A lot of students enjoy grabbing a clipboard and relaxing on the rug to sit comfortably while they complete their work. Every classroom needs a rug that helps students feel comfortable while also providing an educational resource. My students deserve a fresh, new rug to enjoy while they are in my 1st grade class.
