My sweet little learners love to learn, but sitting all day on hard plastic chairs is hard to do, even for adults. Little bodies need to engage their core, and have options for seating that suits their learning. These kinder darlings weren't built to sit still, not on the rug, not in chairs. The flexible seating options would give them choices and much needed options to wibble, wobble, stretch, and balance. While their bodies are happy, their brains will be able to stay engaged in learning. Every year, I have students who struggle to sit still, who want to engage in learning, but their bodies were just not meant for sitting still. These chairs will help them to stay where they need to be, and engage in learning, while engaging their core bodies. Occupational Therapists tell me that children cannot learn to read if they cannot engage their core. These chairs all offer that core engagement, plus the ability to wiggle without disrupting the learning environment.
