First Graders are just learning how to keep their own desk space. With drinking fountains shut down to avoid a spread of germs, all of the students have water bottles in class. Even with lids, water bottles can splash and spill in little hands. It would save our work and technology if we could have our water, and keep it lower than our desk top and away from Chromebooks and expensive text books. Being able to keep their water bottles at their desks safely also helps them learn how to take care of their own needs.
